Wings For Life World Run 2023

May 2023 I On 7 May, the Wings For Life World Run took place for the 10th time.

Nine s::can runners took up the challenge and participated in the global charity run. It took place simultaneously around the world and ended when all 206,728 runners were caught by the “Catcher Car”.

In the Wings for Life World Run, all runners around the world start at the same time. Professional athletes, amateur runners and absolute beginners all compete together against the Catcher Car. The Catcher Car, which acts as a moving finish line, takes up the chase 30 minutes after the start and passing one runner and wheelchair user after another until the race is over.

And the best part? 100% of all entry fees and donations go directly to spinal cord research.

The s::can runners enjoyed the sunny spring weather and running for a good cause. As a team they reached a total of 128 km (80 miles).

Congratulations!
