On July, 3th, the s::can team spent a wonderful day on the Lake Traunsee on the occasion of the company’s 20th anniversary. An interesting and varied program was created for this excursion. After a bus ride to the city Gmunden, the day started with a guided city tour. Afterwards the s::can team was picked up at the famous Castle Ort by an exclusively booked ship, which accompanied s::can the whole day. Captain and companion was one of the most profound connoisseurs of inland navigation / vessels, and an expert in the history of Lake Traunsee with many stories and delicacies in his luggage.
Company trip to Lake Traunsee
Details
After a tour around the Gmundner bay the ship landed in Altmünster, where the s::can team took lunch at a traditional fishing business – in the form of the grilled “Steckerlfisch”.
Then the ride was continued around the rest of the lake, the east and south banks.
After a stop at the picturesque town Traunkirchen the ship crossed the lake again and landed on a wild peninsula which is only accessible by water. There the organic sheep farm Gnigler grilled two lambs by the open fire. The team used the stay at this unique location to enjoy an excellent meal together, play and swim, and share old and create new memories. At sundown the team boated back across the lake, before boarding the bus and going back to Vienna after a day full of joy, new impressions and adventures.
